Happy Day!

As some of you might remember, my recent love of flash fiction began when I wrote a story for an anthology calling for submissions at one of my favorite haunts, Kindleboards. I found out last night that my story was accepted! I’m so thrilled. I can’t even wrap my head around the idea that my story is going to be published alongside of some of those other authors. The story is titled “Love in a Time of Bunnies” and it is a humorous, sweet romance set during a Bunnypocalypse. Proceeds from this anthology will be donated to an animal charity (I don’t think it’s been determined which one yet, but I’ll post it when announced) and I will definitely put up links to where you can find it as soon as it’s available.

Links to a few other stories written for the compilation, but didn’t quite make it in:

Always Bring References by Jeanne Miller and Rex Jameson

Dinner with an Old Friend by Buddy Gott

A Hare-brained Holiday by S.E. Gordon

The Lounge Lizard by J.A. Titus

  1. So it looks like I’m the first to say Congrats. Good for you. But that doesn’t surprise me however well the other writers write.

But I think I missed your original post about it so is this a e-book? If paper when will it be out? and the cost, if you know.

    • Thanks so much! It will definitely be an eBook, probably 99 cents. I’m not sure about paper yet, but it has been discussed. I will let you know when I know more. The collection is going out to an editor next week, so I don’t think it will be out before August at the earliest.

  2. As you so aptly said, congrats to us! I’m excited to be in such good company and looking forward to reading your story.

  3. congrats! that’s great!

  4. Hmmm, if they are 99 cents and it’s for charities I may end up buying half a dozen copies if I can figure out how to give them as gifts. Seems like there is some way. I have some nephews and nephew and niece in laws that might appreciate the stories located there in.

  5. Good work!

  6. Congrats to you, Coral. I’m looking forward to reading your story in the book when it comes out!

P.S. – Thanks for including the link to my story. Very nice of you! 🙂
