I’ll be seeing you in all the old familiar places

I wrote a lovely scene yesterday. One of my best so far I think. It’s interesting to see the improvement in only a few months of (mostly) consistent writing. I look at some of the first few scenes that I wrote and cringe at how bad they are. The good side of that is that the improvement is so obvious, and that means that I’m not really wasting my time. Right? Yeah, that’s what I thought too!

I really could use a few more hours in the day. It seems like I’m trying to squeeze so many things into the few hours I have after work. Work should end earlier I say. When I run things the work day will end at noon. I should make a list of things I need to do but that will just take more time. Sadness.

I’m going to play around with inserting images into posts to see how it looks. Hopefully what follows will be a sketch I did of a rose a few years ago.

A rose
